Roza Deluxe was presented at the 2015 Warsaw Night of Museums at the Studio of Jaga Hupalo. In the piece, the famous communist agitator and feminist Rosa Luxemburg returned from the dead as the bandleader of Duża Porcja – a super group of dead Polish pop stars including Krzysztof Krawczyk, Anna Jantar, Violetta Villas, Zbigniew Wodecki, and Czesław Niemen. The project explored Polish celebrity from a queer perspective using gender reversal and humor. With Marta Król, Grzegorz Sierzputowski, Helena Chorzelska, and Krzysiek Polkowski directed by Paul Bargetto with text by Marta Jagniewska and special guest appearances by Edyta Jarzab and Warsaw’s dearly departed drag queen Kim Lee.
