The Rainbow Vacuum Cleaner project premiered at Jaga Hupało’s Studio as part of Warsaw Night of Museums in 2014. It was the first project of the Foundation. The performance explored the mythical Rainbow vacuum cleaner, a symbol of the West and capitalism which appeared in Poland following the collapse of communism in 1989. The piece explored themes of consumerism, desire and the cult of cleanliness and success. It was directed by Paul Bargetto and performed by Marta Król, Grzegorz Sierzputowski, and Tomasz Sobczak with production design by Agnieszka Kaczynska.
