About

A psychedelic rock cabaret inspired by the events and larger-than-life personalities that gave birth to the digital age in California in 1968. Led by dead poet Jan Lechoń, the cabaret features Czesław Miłosz, Apple computer co-founder Steve Wozniak, eco-terrorist Ted Kaczynski, Ronald Reagan, libertarian philosopher Ayn Rand, Hollywood billboard queen Angelyne, super heroine Wonder Woman, and the notorious serial killer David Joseph Carpenter.
California had its premiere at Instytut Teatralny in Warsaw on May 20, 2018. The project is supported by the City of Warsaw’s Department of Culture (Projekt współfinansuje Miasto Stołeczne Warszawa), the Sopot Non-Fiction Festival, our corporate sponsor the Randazza Legal Group, and the friends of Fundacja Teatru Trans-Atlantyk
